Hugh Hendry – partner, CIO. Hugh is the principal portfolio manager and leads the investment thinking and the research team. He has 16 years' experience from Baillie Gifford, CSAM and for the last six years was with Odey Asset Management, where, along with The Eclectica Fund, he managed $1.0bn of long only European mandates. Hugh graduated from Strathclyde University in 1990.

Simon Batten – partner, CEO. Simon manages the business. Prior to founding Eclectica Asset Management with Hugh he was CEO of Odey Asset Management, which he co-founded in 1991.

Suren Patel – dealer. Born in 1962, Suren has a degree in economics from the University of Kent. He joined Deloitte & Touche in 1985, where he qualified as an accountant (ACA). In 1995, he joined Odey Asset Management where he was finance manager and compliance officer. In 2002, he moved into a dealing role.

Rohin Dattani – operations manager. Born in 1976, Rohin has a degree in international finance and trade from Portsmouth University and has a wealth of fund administration experience, firstly with BNP Paribas, and more recently with Odey Asset Management.

George Lee – analyst. Born in 1979, George has a degree in classics from Cambridge, following which he joined Odey Asset Management in 2000 where he trained as an analyst.
